Flora Washington Spears is Community Services Committee Coordinator / Trainer for Delta Advantage Center. Flora is a native of the Mississippi Delta with very strong family ties and a great appreciation to the Mississippi delta for its influence in her life.  Flora possesses a passion for community service participating in many opportunities to address issues with resolve and respect.

Her work experience includes a corporate career of almost 30 years with responsibilities related to medical / dental claims operations.  Her work included supervisory / management trainer and actively serving as primary contact with corporate clients. 

Flora works to appropriately communicate to Delta Advantage Center’s community residents and clients, partners and volunteers.  As part of her role with communication, she is responsible for ensuring that DAC’s website is appropriately functioning.   She is responsible for training Directors and clients as needed.  Flora is available to coordinate and lead board projects.
